Job Description

We are currently recruiting a SmartPlant Foundation Analyst to join an engineering company based in Surrey, for a 6 month contract.The clients team provides customer and technical support through analysis and problem solving to facilitate installation, implementation, maintenance, education, and documentation of a variety of software technologies.The role will include support to users as well as development. It will be home based to start with, then back in the main office when restrictions are further lifted. The successful applicant will initially focus on supporting and developing SmartPlant Foundation, however it is expected the analyst will develop knowledge of additional applications, resulting in broader growth opportunities.Required qualifications and experience

  • An Engineering Degree (or equivalent: specialist training, certification, or appropriate work experience).
  • Experience supporting SmartPlant Foundation for 8+ years.
  • Experience with a SmartPlant Enterprise integrated applications environment.
  • Experience using or supporting one or more of the following tools: SmartPlant PID, SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant Electrical or Smart 3D preferred, but not required.
  • Experience working in a Citrix environment.
  • An ability to independently assess and prioritise competing urgent issues, whilst identifying areas for improvement in design processes and assist in creating and implementing said solutions.
  • Ability to work with outside service/support providers and other third-party vendors
  • A solid understanding of Windows OS.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server preferred, but not required.
  • Programming experience, preferably with Microsoft C#.net.
