Job Description

Head of Managed Service £70-90k + bonus and benefitsWe are working in partnership with a growing Managed Service Company who are looking to recruit a pivotal role within their company.Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Managed Service professional who would like to join an exec team as Head of Managed Service to help scale their best in class service and operations and grow their customer base while delivering excellent service toour customersForecasting significant growth of this line of business over the next 3 years they need an experienced professional with the understanding, vision and tenacity to deliver these growth aspirations.As Head of Managed Service what does the role involveThis is a highly visible and challenging role and would suit someone who has previous experience of running a Managed Service or running a significant internal ServiceNow support operation.You must have excellent business and sales acumen as well as strong operational and process experience and be well versed in ITIL and Service Management principles.The role will cover:

  • Delivery of a best in class Managed Service
  • Working across our teams and partners to define an effective operating model for customer support, managed development (agile development/DevOps) and small project delivery through the Managed Service
  • Identification of service and operational improvements and oversight of a continual service improvement program for customers and internal operations.
  • Management of the day to day operational processes for all our Managed Service customers.
  • Management of our offshore/nearshore level 2 support service providers.
  • Management and development of the UK-based Managed Support and Managed Development teams.
  • Recruitment of talented Managed Development Consultants
  • Development of new service offerings to meet demands of the market and customers
  • Marketing and promotion of our Managed Development Service to prospects and ServiceNow
  • Building and maintenance of relationships with customers at senior level to support and influence their strategic direction
  • Work with cross functional teams to support business objectives and deliverables
  • Create, maintain and validate capacity, availability, SLA and performance metrics for KPI and contractual reporting
  • The scaling of our Managed Service offering to support our ambitious growth plans for the next 5 years
You will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package dependent on your experience between 70-90k, a bonus of 10%, pension, dental and healthcare and 25 days holiday + bank holidays
