HandymanDescriptionDue to continued growth and the winning of new business, the company we work with are an award winning small independent Insulation company who now wish to permanently employ a Damp and Insulation Technician/Handyman. You will be working on private jobs, mostly owner-occupied properties.You will work in the Feltham, Egham, Staines, Addlestone, Woking areas, depending on where you live, and the West London Borough areas and you should ideally live within 15 miles of Walton-on-Thames which is where the Head office is located.Responsibilities will cover:Co-ordinate different trades to ensure timely completion of the project.Keep track of inventory used on the job.Interfacing with the customer and our office staff as required.Ability to undertake a variety of activities that will differ from job to job, such as replacing rainwater goods and other pipework, moving lamps or sockets, adjust fence panels or fence posts as well as other odd jobs.Maintain site tidiness.Ability to focus on getting tasks completed in a timely manner.Any other skills, especially plastering, Silicon Rendering and External wall Insulation experience that will be a real bonus. Other skills that are of interest include carpentry, Electrics, Brick repointing, gutters, fascia’s, soffits, painting, basic roofing, extending pipework, extending electricity cables, moving fencing posts, keeping site tidy.
