Job Description

Telecoms Engineering Manager, NorwichResolve Recruitment Services are working with a leading complete communications provider to the business and healthcare sector. Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Telecoms Engineering Manager who has a detailed understanding of business telecommunications, on-site installations and team management to join their engineering department, working closely with the technical lead and operations manager to provide seamless installations for customers and management of multiple engineering teams.The role:

  • Responsible for all engineering activities on site across all teams
  • Head up the engineering department
  • Ensure the company are hitting KPI and budgetary targets
  • Ensure everyone is complying with company and legal standards during installations (health and safety), fire regulations, RAMS etc.)
  • Responsible for all contractor activity on site
  • Liaising with engineering suppliers regarding maintenance activities
  • Responsible for all continuous improvement plans for the engineering team
    • The person:
  • Telephone system installation experience
  • Technical knowledge and a strong IT background
  • Problem solving abilities and strong communication skills
  • Experience with working in a similar position within a fast-paced environment
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Ideally you will have previous cabling and system implementation experience
    • The package:
  • A good starting basic of up to £32,000 depending on experience
  • Access to company fleet of pool cars when ad-hoc travel to customer sites is required
