Keep on reading to see yet more compelling reasons why this should be your next career move, working for a company that trulylives and breathes their values.As a Warehouse Team Leader what will your role involve· To lead the Warehouse Team to ensure the department meets deadlines and business objectives · To maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to Health and Safety standards · Provide leadership and guidance and be the point of contact for late shift warehouse colleagues · You will also be responsible for securing the building at the end of each shift · Ensure colleague resources are assigned efficiently to receive, store, pick and despatch customer orders · Assess training needs to develop colleagues to the highest standards · Ensure Health & Safety tasks are carried out in line with the roles and responsibilities · Manage the efficient picking of Contract Embroidery orders · Liaising with the Planning Department to ensure deadlines are me · Assist the Lead in organising and carrying out the annual Stocktake · Plan, monitor and implement the picking and storing of Forward Orders in line with deadlines and customer requirements · Ensure additional resource is used to Replenish stocks to ensure the most efficient picking process · Monitor and maintain stocks of Warehouse consumables - liaising with suppliers and consistently checking for the most competitive supply · Ensure all online orders placed up until 8pm are picked and despatched for next day delivery · Plan and implement any Training Modules that are assigned to the Warehouse Team · Manage the loading of outbound goods, ensuring all parcels are loaded onto the trailer by the daily deadline · Escalate and ensure any issues that may hinder this are resolved · Perform system checks at the end of each daily deadline to ensure all customer orders are accounted for and have been picked and despatched · Manage and authorise Colleague requests for annual leave adhering to the business needs and policies · Monitor and support colleague wellbeing · Deputise in the absence of the Warehouse Lead · Timely and accurate production of reports · Investigate and feedback any Service Calls raised · Keep up to date with any requests and actions reported on the Warehouse Slack Channel · Hold Warehouse Health & Safety and Team Meetings · Liaise with other departments to resolve any issues as they arise · Undertake return to work meetings · Hold colleague appraisals and follow through with required actions · Suggest ideas for areas of improvement in a constructive and positive manner · Champion Employee Ownership · Be flexible with working hours and assist with operational activities when required · Perform any ad hoc duties as required What experience is required for you to join this business as a Warehouse Team Leader · Must exhibit the company values; trust, care, be better · Experience in a leadership role within a warehouse environment ideally dealing with stock and picking and packing · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Works well under pressure and embraces change · Effective communicator and team player, able to work well with people at all levels · Organised and methodical, with the ability to manage workload and priorities · Independently · Flexible to support the business during busy periods with extra hours and / or additional · duties · Effective and efficient time management and organisational skills · Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative · Company Registration What will you LOVE about the role of Warehouse Team Leader · Working hours 2pm-10pm Mon- Fri · As a business the organisation values their colleagues and their commitments outside work, and operate a flexible environment where non-work commitments are fully supported e.g. hobbies, parents evenings, appointments etc. · Salary up to GBP30000 plus profit share based on overall company performance · Fully accessible offices and a great easy location to get to. · 25 days holidays (plus 8 bank holidays) every team member has received an additional 5 days leave for the last 2 years for retaining excellent customer satisfaction · Healthcare plan - include some dental, hospital, physiotherapy, and specialist fees amongst others and also provide access to face to face counselling sessions · Pension contributions -The business will cover full pension contributions for both employer and employee to cover the cost of auto-enrolment · Celebration Days · We meet regularly to share our successes and company updates · Cycle to work · Death in Service - The company will make a payment to your nominated dependent(s) of four times your salary in the event of your death, whilst in the permanent employment of the company.
