Job Description

Search Consultancy are looking for experienced Warehouse person with FLT Counter Balance for our client based near Stockport.Are you an experienced and reliable warehouse operative with forklift looking for work in the Stockport areaWere helping a client recruit for a warehouse operative with Counterbalance to unload, move and stack packages in their facilities.You will need to be a counterbalance forklift driver who takes the utmost care ensuring efficiency and safety. The job will involve loading and unloading in warehouses and storage space settings.Primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Loading and unloading, scanning and sorting
  • Operating a forklift in narrow spaces
  • Ensuring the accurate and safe operation of machinery
  • Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs
You must be a responsible counterbalance driver with plenty of previous experience in driving industrial vehicles in an industrial setting. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.To apply for this role, you will need:
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
  • Yard experience prefferable
  • Excellent physical condition and coordination
  • Valid certification to operate forklifts
  • A can-do and team-spirited attitude
