Job Description

Quality Management Systems Specialist - Homebased Opportunity:Are you currently looking for an exciting new quality assurance role Does your experience include improving and maintaining quality management systems in a GMP environment Have you worked within a pharmaceutical or related scientific industry Are you happy to travel If yes then please read on.My client a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Management Systems Specialist required to support the ongoing Quality Management Systems activities and Continuous Improvement projects during period of company growth.Due to COVID-19 this role will initially be home based with travel to any site as required once COVID-19 travel restrictions have been lifted to provide site specific QS support. Sites are located in UK - Newbury, Stockport, Oxford, Croydon, Thetford, Ireland - Dublin and Sweden - Lund.Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Quality Management Reviews (QMR) - identifying, tracking, trending and reporting on performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting the tracking, trending and analysis of audit findings and NCRs in TrackWise system ensuring cross site collaboration, initiation of corrective and preventive actions and timely closure.
  • Supporting the progression of Complaints in TrackWise.
  • Dealing with non-conformance and Corrective & Preventive Action Processes.
  • Supporting the maintenance of effective change control process to ensure all changes are fully documented and impact of change evaluated across the UK, Ireland and Nordic Compounding network.
  • Fully supporting the Quality Policy, Business goals and objectives by building quality in to all aspects of work.
  • This is an approx. 12 months contract which will be reviewed for a possible extension dependent on the candidate and business performance. The PAYE rate is £22.41 per hour and the Limited Company rate is £24.93 per hour.Skills:To apply for the role of Quality Management Systems Specialist you will have the following:
  • Pharmacy qualification / HND level or above, BTEC, degree or equivalent in Science.
  • Experience of implementing and maintaining quality management systems within a GMP pharmaceutical or related scientific industry.
  • Be able to travel to Newbury, Stockport, Oxford, Croydon, Thetford, Ireland - Dublin and Sweden - Lund as and when needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of Root Cause Analysis and critical thinking with experience in Risk Management including analysis of product, process and system risks.
  • Working knowledge and hands on experience of software tools to manage Quality Systems processes such as TrackWise, Agile, MasterControl and QPulse beneficial.
