Job Description

We are currently working with a leading provider of architectural façades, commercial blinds and performance curtains who through growth now have a requirement for an experienced hands on Contracts Managerto join their expanding team.The Contract Manager plays a critical role in our client’s ability to achieve their goals by creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts. In this role, you will be responsible for contract close-out, extension and renewal, and you will communicate contractual changes to all stakeholders. Our clients company is growing rapidly, and the Contract Manager is critical to their continued success. They are looking for candidates who share their passion for excellence and passion for delivery.Key responsibilities and duties of this role...

  • Identify and meet all stakeholders, discuss requirement and responsibilities of the project team
  • Act as the main point of contact for the customer with regular communications email/verbal/F2F
  • Develop a communication plan
  • Create a risk management strategy
  • Design coordination for Client, architect, drafter, engineer certification
  • Understand Site Picking List and build inventory of finished products for delivery to site
  • Production/Quality Management supervision
  • Contract administration, getting quotes, subcontract agreements, approval of payments to sub-contractors, approve purchases
  • Arrange installation team resource/confirm budgets/deliver construction drawings
  • Create site specific requirement summary - as required in addition to site list produced by Design
  • Coordinate and produce SMWS (safe working method statements)/Risk Assessments/ hazard checklist and any additional safety requirements
  • Site visits to be carried out: No.1 Before or at the beginning of an installation. No. 2 During installation as project requires. Reports must be issued with photographs for all projects before and during installation.
  • Deal with industrial relations matters/ H & S issues etc
    • Requirements:
  • Ability to simultaneously control and manage multiple projects across multiple sites.
  • Ability to control sub contract teams to MS Ltd standards.
  • Knowledge and experience in using appropriate methodologies for construction-based project management, such as Gantt charts.
  • Preparation and presentation of board reports, reporting on project progress from Programme - Budget.
  • Construction Industry knowledge in the same or similar arena.
  • Previous experience of multiple project/programme management and delivery.
  • Exceptional project planning, organising and co-ordination skills for both short and medium-term projects and all associated phases.

  • Previous experience of multiple project/programme management and delivery.
  • A great organiser who can manage multiple work and project streams simultaneously
  • Robust skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Visio
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • A leader and motivator of people, who will direct a team and influence others to maintain the exceptional levels of service

  • A specialist with proven ability to resolve operational problems, design issues, and installation challenges in a multi-trade environment
  • Drivers License (Maximum of 6 penalty points)
    • Hours: 07:30 - 5pm (Mon-Fri)Benefits
