Job Description

We are looking forward to recruit an Assistant Operator to make up and break down loads, assist in the operation of furnaces under the supervision of the Furnace Operator.Bodycote operates an international network of facilities serving a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive, power generation, oil & gas, construction, machine building medical and transportation.   • Make up components for treatment as per instructions.
  • Follow safe operating instructions.
  • Plan efficient use of jigs and fixturing.
  • Maintain good working practices and housekeeping.
  • Follow company health, safety and environmental procedures.
  • Comply with all quality system requirements relevant to operation.
  • The jobholder is responsible for handling, often finished and expensive components, incoming inspection, careful handling and appropriate jigging is a key competency. Team working is a necessary ingredient and also the understanding to ask’ when not sure.
  • Assist the operator in his duties.
  • Assist in other departments.
    • The job holder is given the authority to carry out all the duties and responsibilities outlined within this Job Description, by both the Site Operations Director and Works/Site Manager.Qualifications, experience and skills:
  • FLT Licence & Reach Truck Licence
  • IN HOUSE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
