We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor working days Monday to Friday tojoin a leading manufacturer in Hexham, offering fantastic benefits including free parking, fuel allowance, subsidised staff restaurant and more!This Health and Safety Advisor position is a permanent role working Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm (37.5 hours) on a salary of up to £40,000 dependant on experience.The role of Health and Safety Advisor will be to assist the Management team to achieve relevant objectives to protect the health, safety and welfare of the employees. Your core duties will be:

• To provide competent advice and solutions relating to all aspects of H&S.
• To support with all necessary statutory bodies, including fire and rescue, HSE.
• To provide support and guidance in the writing of risk, COSH assessments, and work instructions.
• To support H&S Management to achieve and maintain the relevant ISO certifications.
• Assist with the planningofaudits and inspections.
• Assist with the production of monthly and adhoc reporting

To be successful as Health and Safety Advisor, you will have the following:

• Health and Safety Advisor experience from a manufacturing or production facility
• NEBOSH National Certificate (occupational H&S)
• NEBOSH National Certificate (fire safety & risk management) - advantageous
• NEBOSH National Diploma - advantageous
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor - Preferred
• Full UK drivers license - essential due to occasional travel to other sites
