Job Description

Job title:Warehouse OperativeWe are looking for ongoing warehouse operatives to join our busy fast paced team based in St HelensAbout Our ClientOur Clientis the UKs largest retailer of solid hardwood furniture. With a Head Office in Wiltshire and showrooms throughout the UK. All stock is processed within our 500,000 sq. ft. Distribution Centre and delivered totheir customers, free of charge, using our own delivery fleet. With over twenty years experience in the UK furniture industry,they are specialists and have grown to delivering more than 2000 orders a day.They sell large volumes of high quality oak, mango and mahogany furniture at massively reduced prices - direct to the public and commercial hospitality customers. The company has featured in the Sunday Times Fast Track list of rapidly growing businesses in 4 of the last 5 years and offers a dynamic and exciting environment to work in.

Salary:£9 per hour

Hours:Day Shift – 6:30am -3pm Afternoons 14:30pm-23:00pm

Employment Type: Temporary

Start Date: Immediate

Location:Haydock St Helens WA11 9SR

Key responsibilities & duties:

Trailer Loading/Unloading

Physically loading delivery vans

Shrink Wrapping

Using Scan Guns

General Warehouse Operative roles.

Heavy Lifting

Minimum qualifications, experience and Academic qualifications:

Experience of working in a warehouse environment at least 3 months

Loading and unloading Experience essential

The successful applicant:The successful applicant must have:

At least 3 months warehouse experience

Loading and Unloading Experience.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to multi task and priorities workload.

Flexibility in working times.

Can do attitude and a flexible approach.

Can work under pressure/to deadlines
