Job Description

Full Job DescriptionFrom their manufacturing facility in Haydock our client design, manufacture and distribute low voltage switchgear products for commercial and industrial applications around the world.They are looking for an experienced panel wirer to join their team on a full time/permanent basis.Panel Wirer Responsibility for building panel products individually and / or part of a team which meet the company and client expectations.Experience required:

  • Must have a minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical drawings working in 2D and 3D build and CAD Drawings and single line drawings.
  • Experience working on control panels.
  • Experience working on Switchgear panels.
  • Safe working knowledge of hand and power tools and appropriate PPE
  • Must hold a driving licence.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety.
  • Experience working with copper busbar for install of ACBs would be advantageous but not essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Installation of Busbar / Earth Bars.
  • Fitting out doors for electrical equipment.
  • Control wiring from schematic diagram and single line drawings.
  • For this post you must be able to work alone and be able to use your own initiative, work as part of a team and be able to communicate effectively with co workers.
