Job Description

The CompanyPyroguard is part of the Technical Fire Safety Group and the worlds leading independent provider of fire safety glass for Steel, Aluminium & Timber applications.With over 30 years’ specialist experience Pyroguardprovides fire-rated safety glass enabling architects, specifiers and installers to achieve their vision of safe and beautiful living and working spaces.With production facilities based in both the UK and France and strategically located sales locations, Pyroguard is strongly positioned to manufacture and supply the widest range of tested and certified fire safety glass products on a global scale.Our markets currently include the United Kingdom, Ireland, The Netherlands, France, Belgium, Iberia, Germany, India, UAE, Nordics & North America.Join us and you will be part of a dedicated team that can really make a difference in a growing dynamic company.The roleWe are looking for a HR Manager to lead the HR function for the Pyroguard Group in all regions where Pyroguard have an employee presence, promoting and developing a positive culture that drives best practice and compliance with legislation in all people related areas of the business. This role encompasses the full end-to-end employee lifecycle in a small busy HR function and will be responsible for managing a HR administrative assistant.More specifically, you will be:

  • Supporting line managers across our regions with all employment related matters, assisting with queries and ensuring all relevant paperwork is generated and issued in accordance with relevant procedures and legislative requirements.
  • Leading the management of casework, including sickness absence, grievance and disciplinary, making recommendations, giving support and advice to managers.
  • Working with line managers to establish resourcing requirements and supporting them in managing in sourcing and selection of candidates (where required).
  • Reviewing and updating, as necessary, HR policies and procedures and any supporting documentation
  • Overseeing and supporting annual reward activities such as salary and bonus review
  • Managing and overseeing our payroll and benefits provision
    • Person Specification:
  • Demonstrable track record and experience in a multi-site manufacturing business or similar (desired).
  • CIPD Level 5 or higher
  • 5+ years experience in Human Resources
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills - capable of building relationships at all levels.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • Detail-focused with excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Continuous improvement approach
