Job Description

HGV Technician - Haydock Salary: Highly Competitive Hourly rate dependent on experienceRolling 4 on 4 off shift over 8 days working 6am6pmNegotiable at offer stage with shift allowance plus overtime Full TimePermanentThe Role:As an HGV technician you will be Required to work in a busy & Time critical HGV/Trailer workshop. Working to a high standard and being able to work both as part of a team and alone. You must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation& Trailer and Vehicle diagnostics & up to date with DVSA standards.As an HGV technician, you will need:

  • Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable.
  • HGV 1 licence is preferable but not essential.
  • Ability to complete digital & written service/inspection sheets to a high standard
  • Excellent time keeping essential
  • IRTEC accreditation desirable
