Job Description

My client is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in Newton-le-Willows on a full-time permanent basis to play a key role within the accounts team.This will be a 37.5 hour working week with the hours being 8am to 4:30pm but there is flexibility with the hours to meet the candidate’s needs.With a competitive salary of £21,000 - £22,000 per annum pro rata and there is also a flexibility of hours. This also includes hybrid after an initial period.Benefits:

Duties:
  • Accurate processing of invoices and credit notes.
  • Conducting statement reconciliations.
  • Handling supplier queries and efficiently resolving invoice disputes.
  • Providing necessary documentation to internal business areas and promptly addressing any related inquiries.
  • Assisting with various ad hoc duties as required.
Specification:
  • Experience in Accounts Payable
  • Time Management & attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • MS Excel / Word experience
