Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Credit Controller to join our team in Middlesbrough. Containerships is also a European leader insustainable transport thanks to its fleet of LNG powered vessels and trucks.About the role:As the Credit Controller you willsupport the efficient running of the Accounts Receivable function, whilst also working closely with head office and the shared service centre. Responsibilities will include:- To ensure weekly / bi monthly statements are sent to a defined set of customers- To investigate and address any issues resulting in unapplied cash-Liaising with sales and operations to help reduce disputes-Reconciliation of statements-Ensure customer adhere to agreed payment terms / credit limits-Ensure data accuracy-Daily allocation of receipts-Pro active telephone chasing-Weekly reporting on monies due in-Regular review of customers on hold-Key relationships with UK Finance Manager, Credit Control Supervisor, Customers, Sales &Customer Service colleagues and overseas colleagues.-Liaising with all departments including the Shared Service Centre to build a good relationship.
