A team that you could be part of.As Kitchen Porter your main duties will include basic food preparation, keeping the kitchen and restaurant clean along with Front of House duties.What you will be doing: Supporting all Chefs within the kitchen environment to provide a first-class customer experience by delivering a high-quality food service. Basic food preparation Disposing of food waste, emptying bins Washing up and clearing and cleaning the kitchen surfaces and areas Unloading and putting away deliveries Ensuring adequate supplies of clean utensils and crockery Clearing and sanitising tables in dining area, sweeping and mopping floors in kitchen and dining area Deep cleaning fridges and storerooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety Taking action to minimise wastage at all stages of food productionWed love to meet someone with: A passion to support kitchen staff in producing high quality food and food service Ability to work on own initiative as well as an effective team player Attention to detail Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to communicate at all levels MS Word, Excel, Outlook experience Appropriate Food Hygiene Certificate would be desirable but not essentialAmongst what we offer you is: A competitive salary of £18,278.00 per annum 28 days holiday PLUS Bank Holidays A generous contributory pension scheme Private health care Free life assurance Access to an extensive suite of wellbeing services and tools including a digital gym Opportunities for learning and development Discounted gym membership Retail discount schemePlease note the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS application.Closing date: 9th September, 2022Interview date: To be confirmedWe reserve the right to close this recruitment if it is deemed that we have received a suitable number of applications.
