Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to work around the country at various locations. Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join this fast-growing company who also invests in the planet with its product. This FieldService Engineer role is a temp to perm/perm role (depending on the candidate) paying £32,000 to £35,000 per annum with a company vehicle.Pay Rate:

  • £32,000 to £35,000 per annum including a company vehicle
Field Service Engineer Responsibilities will include:
  • Good Knowledge of mechanics and mechanical fitting
  • Experience working with single-cylinder diesel generators would be beneficial
  • Working knowledge of electrical/electronic wiring
  • Strong fault-finding skills across both mechanical and electronic backgrounds
  • Basic plumbing and carpentry skills
  • Basic IT skills a must, use of laptop and tablet and diagnostic software
  • Previous experience within a welfare maintenance or plant machinery background is desirable
  • Conversant with the safe use of various handheld equipment and tools
  • Welding skills would be desirable but not essential
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as both part of a team, and alone on customers sites.
  • UK Driving License with the ability to tow and reverse units
  • Happy to work outside in all weathers
The role is based out of our depot in Loughborough and will cover the whole of the Midlands area up to 150 miles max.Hours
  • 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 8am to 4.30pm - flexibility required
