Currently seeking Visiting Lecturers to enhance the portfolio in the School and join the team in delivering world-class teaching.Offering exciting and flexible opportunities for candidates with the knowledge in atleast one of the following areas:EngineeringStructural MechanicsThermofluid MechanicsAerospace EngineeringEngineering MathematicsAerodynamicsAircraft DesignDigital Signal ProcessingAutomotive EngineeringElectrical SystemsManufacturing EngineeringOperations ManagementSupply ChainLogisticsYou will be responsible for the teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level and assist with lab and practical tutorials.Qualifications and experience:You will hold a minimum of a Degree in a relevant subject area in addition to significant industrial and/or HE teaching experience. Previous experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in at least one of the above areas would be desirable, however support for teaching will beprovided to Visiting Lecturers joining them directly from industry.Experience of having led teaching of modules with large numbers of students and research teams, which has included securing research funding; seeking out and responding to funding and collaborative opportunities; leading andmanaging research; mentoring and coaching colleagues; and experience ofdoctoral supervision will also be an advantage. Due to the imminent nature of the teaching commitments required, we anticipate Visiting Lecturer applicants will immediately be able to travel towork on campus.
