Job Description

Job Title: Security Officer/Post Room OperativeLocation: HatfieldSalary: £10.47 per hour (average weekly earnings of £586.32)Job Type: Full Time, PermanentHours: 56 Hours per week, working on a 7 on 3 off 7 on 4 off roster patternThey are currently looking to recruit a Security Officer to work at one of their clients location based in Hatfield. This is a full-time, permanent role requiring an individual who can work an average of 56 hours per week covering days, nights and weekends working a 7 on 3 off 7 on 4 off roster pattern.This is a corporate environment and requires excellent levels of customer service to be maintained at all times. Your main function will be to ensure the safety and security of their clients building and their visitors by carrying out all duties in line with the site assignment instructions and supporting the operations of the business.Main Responsibilities:

  • Controlling access to the site
  • Handling enquires
  • Post room
  • Responding to alarms
  • Incident handling
  • Patrolling
  • Greeting visitors
  • Other general security related duties
    • The successful Candidate will have/ be:
  • Prior experience working as a security officer within the security industry
  • A valid frontline SIA licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection)
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Unrestricted right to work on a full-time basis within the UK
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English
