Job Description

Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be working with a prestigious private school based within the Hatfield area. This position will be an office based opportunity within the picturesque school grounds, and will suit a candidate who has previouslyworked within a school setting in an administrative capacity. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing the school students attendance and assist in the smooth running of the general office.Please note - This is a full time opportunityHours - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm Salary - £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience Some of the duties will include:

  • Working as part of the school operations team
  • Day to day management of the student attendance
  • Communicating professionally with parents, staff and pupils
  • Monitoring, recording and reporting absence of students
  • Acting as first point of contact with parents and guardians with regards to student absence
  • Reviewing the twice daily legal pupil registration reports, following up as appropriate
  • Maintain daily operations on all school information systems
  • Ensure all complaints and enquiries are dealt with effectively
  • Coordinating school post
  • Maintain and manage the transport tennis scholar calender daily
  • Assisting to aid internal travel arrangements
  • Providing administrative support as required

  • Ability to build strong working relationships acorss all levels
  • Good knowledge of school policies
