A highly reputable Asset Management company is looking to welcome a Risk Management Associate into their Finance team. The company is experience growth as their funds continue to grow gradually and through portfolio acquisitions.The successful candidate will be working and sharing responsibilities alongside a Corporate Finance Associate. The company are offering up to £60,000 to £80,000 plus an attractive benefits package to the successful candidate.The main responsibilities for this Risk Management Associate role are:* - Analysing and monitoring the financial and operation health of the Portfolios operators to manage the Customers credit risk* - Collaborating with the Origination and Commercial teams in the transaction process* - Assessing the credit risk of prospective and existing lessees* - Presenting and reporting of all analysis to the CFOO, CEO or other senior management when required* - Liaising with existing and new customers at a senior level and assist in the delivery of successful commercial outcomes* - Reporting on portfolio risk positions to the Fund Risk Committees monthly* - Working with all areas of the business to help incorporate credit risk concepts and strategiesThe successful applicant for this Risk Management position will:* - A minimum of 2 years experience within corporate banking, credit or asset leasing environment, or the commercial aviation sector experience is advantageous* - Have a degree or equivalent* - Have a clear understanding of general accounting principles* - Can understand and comment on the risk issues within information provided in financial statements and carry out the correct financial analysis* - Overseas travel is an important part of this role so being able to travel short notice will be required* - Have strong oral, written, and analytical skillsFor immediate consideration or for more information, please contact Harry Coleman at Trace Recruitment.
