Early Finish Friday at 13:00.Quality Inspector required for special purpose component manufacturer who are going through a large period of growth which can offer continuous training and career development opportunities to the successful candidate!The role would suit experienced Quality Inspectors who have experience working within a low/medium manufacturing background. Applicants with experience of working in aerospace, automotive or medical device industries will have a considerable advantage andare encouraged to apply. Engineers will ideally have experience of First Article Inspection, producing FAIR reports, inspection of machined parts and the use of CMM equipment.Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to legal compliance on site and ensuring components are produced to customer requirements/standards. You will calibrate and operate CMM equipment and also general inspection equipment.You will contribute to and participate in AS9100 and NADCAP audits. You will carry out root cause analysis surrounding non conformances and ongoing quality. You will carry out first article inspections and produce FAIRs for precision machined products.This is a fantastic opportunity to obtain a varied role with a well established manufacturer.
