Graduate Lean Manufacturing TechnicianHatfield, HertfordshireCompetitive Salary negotiable DOE + Overtime Opportunities + 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Life Insurance + Generous Pension Plan + Progression Opportunities.Graduate Lean Manufacturing Technician sought for a special purpose component manufacturer who are going through a large period of growth which can offer continuous training and career development opportunities to the successful candidate!The role will suit either experienced LEAN engineers or those with exposure to lean manufacturing tools and techniques in current roles with the desire to specialise in this area, for example, quality technicians or production engineers/technicians seekinga full process/LEAN engineering role. Aerospace engineering experience is ideally sought; however all transferable manufacturing experience will be taken into consideration for the right candidates.The key focus of the role will be to develop and drive forward a sustainable LEAN/Continuous Improvements culture across the whole manufacturing unit. This will involve implantation of all new initiatives and procedures/process improvements, the trainingand mentoring of all operational staff in the relevant manufacturing cells and the monitoring of adherence and performance to these improvements.This is a fantastic opportunity to obtain a varied role with a well established manufacturer. They supply to a range of industries and are a brand associated withquality.The Person:* Will have exposure to LEAN manufacturing tools and techniques within a relevant manufacturing environment, Aerospace or precision engineering environments ideal although all transferable environments will be considered.* Experience of/assisting with LEAN implementation.* Understanding of standard metrics, flow diagrams with inputs and outputs of a businesses processes.* Ability to identify areas for improvement and develop project plans for improvement implementation.* Able to facilitate and lead continuous improvement events* Ability to coach and operate with operational staff
