DT Teacher SEN / Alternative ProvisionTeaching across Keystage 3 and 4Located near HatfieldASAP Start I am currently working with a great school on an exciting new role in the Hatfield area. The school are looking for a DT Teacher that can also teach Construction across Key stage 3 and 4 to join them ASAP. The school are looking for an excellent DT Teacher to join them through to April 2021 on a long term supply contract. There is a permanent position on offer for the right candidate.The School: • Caters for key stage 3 and 4 pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties• Is a well-established and highly regarded school in the area • Provide an individualised education programme for each of their students • Supportive SLT and friendly team of teachers The Role:• Full time (Monday - Friday) term time • Will involve small group work with a maximum of 10 students in the class • Will be to teach young individuals that have found large mainstream settings difficult • You will be responsible for supporting the student’s educational, social and emotional development About You•Qualified DT Teacher (QTS/QTLS)•Able to teach DT Teacher across KS3/KS4 •Able to teach Construction across KS3/KS4 • An understanding of SEN and managing challenging behaviours • To be highly motivational to encourage the students to be the best they can •A good sense of humour and resilient character If this sounds like a role that you would like, please forward me your most up to date CV by clicking Apply Now.
