Job Description

Construction / Project PlannerPermanent - Hertfordshire basedHere at Howells we are working with a leading Construction business to recruit a Planner to join their team based in Hertfordshire. This is a full time, permanent position ideal for an enthusiastic and motivated Planner who is keen to further their career with a market leading contractor.As a Planner, your key duties will be to:

  • Provide planning management and support to the Operations department and for the business
  • Coordinate with bid and construction teams to manage and control the planning and programming aspects of multiple projects
    • What we are looking for:
  • Educated to professional level with a relevant degree or HND in a Construction related subject
  • Through understanding and experience in the use of ASTA power project
  • Skills and experience with ADOBE Acrobat
  • Extensive experience in programme and project management and project planning
  • Significant project planning experience with projects in housing, Student accommodation, Schools and Hospitality sector.
  • Experience on site experience in planning role or with previous roles as Site manager or Assistant Planner.
  • Bid and project planning experience on construction projects.
  • Health & Safety (CSCS card) qualification and training
