My client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Chef Manager to oversee the catering at this site based near Stevenage/Hatfield, Hertfordshire.Catering for approx 800 on site, the catering department provides a busy lunch service as well as ad hoc hospitality. As the Chef Manager, you will lead and manage a team as well as be fully responsible for the financial side including budgets and costs. In addition, you will produce good food using fresh, seasonal ingredients as well as create up to date specials based on the latest food trends and concepts.To be considered as a candidate, you will- be at Chef Manager level with a proven career history- be a strong leader and able to lead, manage and motivate a team- be up to date with the latest food trends and concepts with the ability to demonstrate this knowledge at interview- have excellent communication skills and able to liaise with customers as well as the client- be forward thinking and able to implement new ideas and concepts- be enthusiastic, energetic and willing with a positive, can do attitudeWorking Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, this is a great opportunity for a strong Chef Manager to progress their career.
