Job Description

Due to continued growth, Hague Personnel are recruiting a number of Vehicle Assemblers for our award winning manufacturing client based in Haslingden.This is a great opportunity to join a market leading manufacturer of temperature controlled commercial vehicles. Their customers include some of the largest supermarkets and food distribution companies in the UK.Duties will vary dependant on the department and site you are working at however the general duties across the sites include:

Working in a fast paced production environment
Use of Hand, Air and Power tools (Impact Gun, Saw, Riveter, Jigsaw, Grinder)
Measuring to precise MM
Reading of technical drawings
Working under vehicles
Mounting onto Chassis
Use of machinery
Manufacturing of doors and panels for commercial vehicles
Fitting of fixings, racking and tail lifts
Finishing
Assembly of panels and fixings
Use of sealants and silicone
Manual labouring
Use of glues and resins
Fibre glassing
Manufacturing of bases for commercial vehicles
Prepping chassis
Bolting chassis
Adhering to health and safety
Keeping the work area clean and tidy

We have 3 fixed shifts available as follows:DAY SHIFT Monday to Thursday 6am-4pmMID SHIFT Monday to Thursday 4pm-2amNIGHT SHIFT Monday to Thursday 8pm-6am39 hours / 4 shifts per week.Overtime is paid after 39 hours. Time and half Monday to Saturday and double time on Sunday.Pay Rates (Whilst working through Hague Personnel)DAY SHIFTBasic Rate £9.70 per hourOvertime Monday to Saturday £14.55 per hourOvertime Sunday £19.40 per hourMID SHIFTBasic Rate £10.30 per hourOvertime Monday to Saturday £15.45 per hourOvertime Sunday £20.60 per hourNIGHT SHIFTBasic Rate £10.63 per hourOvertime Monday to Saturday £15.95 per hourOvertime Sunday £21.26 per hourOur client will offer further pay increases based on skill set once employed direct.Duration: The positions will lead to a contract with our client on week 13 providing you have completed your training and have good attendance / time keeping.Once employed direct employees will receive the following benefits:
