Electrical CAD Engineer - Requirements

Recent electrical drawing experience, preferably using AutoCAD Electrical
Any electrical qualification or design experience would be an advantage
Experience of working to Quality systems ISO 9001
Highly self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
Ability to work well with others
Good organisational skills, excellent punctuality and timekeeping
Knowledge or experience of any of the following would be an advantage:
3-phase motor starters (DOL, Inverter etc.)
PLC Systems
ATEX design

Electrical CAD Engineer - ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have experience of electrical design of low voltage assemblies, incorporating a good understanding of electrical regulations, standards and best practice.Main duties will include:

Understanding and interpreting Design Engineers information
Use of AutoCAD Electrical to compile drawings
Producing drawing packs for issue to internal teams and Customers
Generating technical queries where required
Monitoring workflow in accordance with the agreed production schedule
Working with colleagues in the design and manufacturing teams to update drawings
Overseeing delivery and/or installation if necessary
Working in accordance with company rules and procedures and quality management system
