The Company Overview:This successful and growing business is looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Assistant into their dynamic finance team. This team is headed by an excellent, well respected and engaging Manager who is very supportive of their team. This business is very profitableand has doubled its revenue income over the last few years.Your Role as the Purchase Ledger Assistant:As the new Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be inputting POs on Sage, inputting all the supplier invoices and credits onto Sage, and inputting all Subcontractor/CIS Invoices onto Sage. You will also be setting up new suppliers / subcontractors on Sage,verifying new subcontractors with HMRC under the Construction Industry Scheme, and processing supplier statements / queries. In addition, you will handle all monthly / weekly payment runsincluding approvals from Engineers, and allocating payments/creditson Sage. Lastly, you will be inputting Direct Debits onto Sage and handling all weekly expenses. Experience & Qualifications required to apply:To be considered, you must be possess at least 2 years experience in a similar role. You will have high attention to detail skills, be organised and methodical. In addition, you will be capable of dealing with large volumes of invoices and be capable of workingunder pressure. Lastly, you will be able to learn quickly, pick up new systems with appropriate training and have good Excel skills.Salary and Reward on Offer:This is a diverse role which provides the successful candidate with a great platform to extend their knowledge and further their finance specific expertise.
