Job Description

We are supporting a food and medical packaging company in the recruitment of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering and maintenance departmentThe RoleTo provide effective maintenance solutions to aid the development and processes and products. Working with all on site teams from research to design and manufacturing through to installation and commissioning. You will also undertake relevant maintenanceschedules and rectify breakdowns as well as assist with projects.Key Areas

  • Design and implement cost-effective equipment modification to help improve safety and reliability.
  • Undertake Electrical and Mechanical projects as and when required using engineering principles and techniques
  • Ensuring that all repairs, breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and project work is completed to a high standard
  • Comply with all existing SWPs and contribute to the continuous improvement of SWPs.
  • Support the Development of the Apprentices on site.
Knowledge,Training and Experience required
  • HNC or HND (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
  • Highly Skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with at least five years working experience within an FMCG environment
  • Motivated; proactive & who has a positive approach to their work.
  • Health & Safety and Quality Awareness
  • Excellent attendance and timekeeping
  • Flexible in their approach to work
