Credit ControllerThe Job PurposeWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team. We are looking for someone who can join a young and dynamic team to build a stronger Finance function for the future. You will manage the end to end of credit control for designated accounts/customers. The credit control function consists of 2 members and the overall Finance team is a total of 9.Key Areas of responsibility· Proactively managing the debtor ledgers within the agreed targets set by the division.· Evaluate credit risk for new and existing customers and ensure credit limits are within the guidelines set by the Financial Controller.· Efficiently resolving customer queries by liaising with other teams to ensure that customer service is at center of all communication.· Ensure statements and invoices are sent out within agree timeframes to reduce late payments or queries.· Process cash entries to the ERP and maintain a clean debtors ledger by carrying out regular reconciliation between customer remittances and ledgers.· Updating the Invoice discount facility with the most up to date information, currently at least twice a week.· Generate daily/weekly and monthly reports e.g. Overdue balances, customer over credit limits, unresolved queries etc.· Provide cover for team members where needed· Ad-hoc duties delegated by line managerThe Person· Strong individual with an analytical approach with attention to detail· Self motivated and can work under pressure· A can-do attitude, able to overcome obstacles with a team approach· Ability to inspire and motivate others through the use of appropriate leadership styles· Organisational and planning skills to manage your time and to meet deadlines and objectives· Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels and to motivate others· Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearlyKnowledge, Training and Experience required
