Job Description

BB4 4LSHGV Class 1 Tramping - Mon to Fri - RossendaleImmediate Starts Available - Temp to PermNights out allowance at £26.20.Minimum 33 days holiday per year plus service days from year 3Sick pay schemeOption to sell holidays to bring down to industry standard level

  • A £12.70 single mid-week rate
  • Weekend OT rates - £16.50 (Sat first 4 hrs) and £22.00 thereafter
  • Average holiday pay (£12.70 x 8 week average hrs) paid for all 33 days holiday plus service days
  • Minimum 28 days must be taken as paid holidays, individual choice to sell up to 5 days plus service days back in any year, which could net up to an additional £1,219 per year
  • Sick pay protection, first absence in 12 months £508 per week
  • 27% increase in both employee and employer pension contributions increasing tax and NI benefit
  • Life Assurance coverage of £79,248
  • 9.8% increase in average annual earnings, £36,100 (excluding expenses) to £39,624, increasing to £40,843 (13.1%) for those who sacrifice maximum level of holidays
We have a number of opportunities for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to work full time on a 12 week temp to perm for an established and prestigious client in the Rossendale area.Successful applicants can expect to enjoy the luxury of driving a new vehicle and doing up to 7 drops per day on the nationwide delivery of underlay. A good level of physical fitness will be required as there is often handball involved. Experience is preferredbecause the role involves deliveries in mid-town and city centre locations.Youll work Monday to Friday with the very occasional run in on a Saturday morning which means youll earn a high salary and every weekend off.
