Job Description

Our exclusive client based in Haslingden, are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team. This is a brand new position due to expansion and the company growing by 20% in the past 12 months.Duties of the role include:

Assisting with monthly managements accounts
Assisting with accrual and prepayment calculations and journals
Posting cash book transactions
Nominal journals / transactions
Bank reconciliations
Calculate and post intercompany transactions
Reconciling intercompany account balances
Posting of month end stock journals
Reconcile month end margins at department level
Ad-hoc duties as required for a small accounts office
