Home working will be part of the role, but travel will be expected so you must have a UK Driving license.If you are a passionate and experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer ready to take on the challenge of shaping the future of secure and scalable cloud infrastructures - this could be the role for you!You will join a dynamic team as they drive innovation around cloud-based solutions for highly sensitive customer data-sets and environments.If youre adept at configuring, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, while also having a deep understanding of development and deployment processes, my client will want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

Leverage your 2+ years of development experience in configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform to orchestrate and automate the deployment and management of infrastructure

Utilize your 4+ years of Linux system engineering experience to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud systems

Apply your 2+ years of experience in developing and implementing security measures (This includes IAM policies, CI/CD pipeline security, PKI infrastructure).

Implement your 2+ years of expertise with CI orchestration services like Jenkins or Spinnaker to streamline our continuous integration and continuous deployment processes

Leverage your 2+ years of scripting/programming experience (Shell, Python, Golang, Ruby) to create automation scripts, tools, and utilities that enhance our operational efficiency

Utilize your in-depth understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and components as implemented in IAAS (VPC, TGW, route tables, security groups, etc.) to design and manage resilient and secure networking architecture

Apply your knowledge of Log Management and Analytics tools such as Splunk or ELK to ensure robust monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting capabilities across our cloud infrastructure.

You will have proven hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a focus on security, scalability, and automation coupled with a strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is also requiredCertifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, or similar are a plus.A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in cloud computing and DevOps.You will be be part of a forward-thinking team that values innovation and embraces cutting-edge technologies.
