The salary is up to £39,500pa. depending on experience.Full Job DescriptionZeus Freight are looking to hire skilled and reliable Full time/Part time HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team. The salary is up to £39,500pa, pro rata. Overtime available over 50 hours.As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will play a vital role in the transportation operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to the business’ nationwide UK clients.You’ll be driving an articulated vehicle which will be fitted with an overnight cabin should it be needed. Yard based in Nuneaton.Responsibilities:· Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.· Reporting to and working with Operations / Dispatchers· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.· Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transportation.· Plan and execute routes, considering factors such as traffic conditions, delivery schedules, and vehicle capabilities.· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.· Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.· Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.· Handle documentation, such as delivery notes and invoices, accurately and efficiently.Requirements:· Valid HGV Class 1 license with CPC and digital tacho· Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver· Must be a minimum of 26 years old.· A clean driving record with no more than 3 penalty points· Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations· Ability to navigate efficiently using maps and GPS systems.· Good communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits:· Starting salary up to £39,500pa pro rata plus overtime as required· Well-maintained fleet of vehicles· Supportive work environment· Ongoing training and development opportunities· Company-provided uniforms and safety equipment· Subsistence payment of £25 for any overnight stay (night out).If you are a professional and responsible HGV Class 1 Driver seeking a fresh and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £39,500.00 per yearBenefits:
