Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor Hartlebury, Worcestershire The roleTo support the Manager in the supervision of Warehouse activities to ensure the smooth running of the Warehouse function.Responsibilities:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To assist the Manager in the organization of the Warehouse team and the workload to ensure Warehouse duties are carried out in a timely and efficient manner;
  • To delegate and priorities tasks within the team as appropriate;
  • Oversea and ensure all documentation is fully completed to the required standards and in full compliance of the Companys policies and procedures;
  • To resolve or escalate issues to ensure a speedy resolution;
  • To facilitate the correct and safe receipt/storage/transportation/dispatch of goods to and from the Warehouse department;
  • To ensure the Company ERP system is accurately maintained in respect of materials located in Goods In and during the feedstock preparation process;
  • To work closely with Manager to execute new projects including but not limited to processes and procedures within the Warehouse dept;
  • To assist with the management of external storage requirements to meet the needs of the business;
  • To ensure fork lift truck checks and supporting paperwork are conducted daily and any defects reported to the Manager immediately;
  • To be a hands-on member of the Warehouse team and undertake all associated duties relevant to the Warehouse Operative role;
  • Performance management of the Warehouse staff including but not limited to undertaking first-level absence and timekeeping management;
  • To ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained;
  • To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manneridentify potential safety, health or environmental hazards, initiate appropriate action to address any immediate hazards, advise and work with Management and EHS staff to ensure that potential hazardsare addressed;
  • To carry out all tasks and duties assigned to you in a timely and professional manner;
  • Be aware of the fundamentals of product safety within the business and the implications and responsibilities this has in your day to day role;
Minimum Previous Experience:
  • Proven experience within a supervisory role within the Warehouse environment.
  • Experienced in Stock control
  • Experience using an ERP or MRP system is desirable
