Job Description

CNC Estimator/PlannerLocation: Hartlebury, Worcestershire (DY10)Responsibilities:- Handle customer inquiries, generate quotations, and convert them into orders using Redthorn Production Control System.- Develop detailed component plans covering labour, material, and tooling requirements.- Ensure compliance with Company and ISO 9001 documentation standards.- Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers through communication and occasional visits.- Attend production meetings, provide updates, and report on work progress or issues.- Identify opportunities for streamlining the quotation process and contribute to company projects.- Support the Production Team and manage additional responsibilities as needed in a growing SME.Requirements:- Previous experience in Production/Planning/Quoting within an Engineering environment.- Proficient in interpreting Engineering drawings and CAD models, calculating cycle times and labour hours.- Ability to plan operations across CNC machinery and supply chain processes effectively.- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanour. Ability to talk to all types of characters - Organized with meticulous attention to detail.- Self-motivated, adaptable, and open to new challenges.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access) and data analysis/reporting.- Have a full UK Driving Licence and own carPackage:- Salary: £33K-£36K PA (depending on experience)- Discretionary bonuses- Full-time position: Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm, Fri8am-3.30pm (39 hours/week)- On-site parking- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays- Pension, sick pay, and health care scheme after probationary periodIf you think you have the skills for this position then please apply today.
