Position: Graduate CNC Estimator/PlannerLocation: Hartlebury, Worcestershire (DY10)*SPECIFIC TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED*Responsibilities:- Manage customer inquiries, create quotations, and convert them into orders using the Redthorn Production Control System.- Develop detailed component plans encompassing labour, material, and tooling requirements under the guidance of experienced staff.- Ensure compliance with Company and ISO 9001 documentation standards.- Support in maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers through communication and occasional visits.- Attend production meetings, provide updates, and assist in reporting on work progress or issues.- Collaborate with the team to streamline the quotation process and contribute to company projects.- Assist the Production Team and manage additional responsibilities as needed in a growing SME.Requirements:- A graduate with at least one year of work experience in CNC machining/hands-on shop floor within precision engineering or office experience with CAD software.- Ability to interpret Engineering drawings and CAD models, with a basic understanding of cycle times and labour hours.- Willingness to learn and develop skills in planning operations across CNC machinery and supply chain processes.- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude. Ability to talk to all types of characters- Organizational skills with an attention to detail.- Self-motivated, adaptable, and open to learning new challenges.- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access) is advantageous.- Full UK Driving Licence with own car- Right to live and work in the UK (permanently)Package Offered:- Salary: £28,000- Training will be provided- Full-time position: Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm, Fri 8am-3.30pm (39 hours/week)- On-site parking- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays- Pension, sick pay, and health care scheme after probationary periodIf you are a more Senior Engineer and believe this is a good fit for you then please still apply as the client is open to this being a CNC Estimator/Planner positionIf you have the necessary skills for this role then please apply today.
