Job Description

Morgan Hunt are currently seeking a head of operational estates for an NHS trust located in West London.This role provides support to the Head of Estates and Capital Projects. It will be the single point of contact for the Estates Maintenance Service, carrying senior and professional responsibility for the effective, safe and compliant delivery of all theTrust wide Estates maintenance services. These services include Maintenance Services, Grounds Maintenance and sustainability. They will act as the Trusts specialist for all engineering, building services and maintenance matters giving professional adviceon such areas. Areas to include all plant rooms, generators, ventilation plants, steam distribution, HV/LV electrical distribution, heating systems, cooling systems, lifts, medical gas, domestic hot and cold water generation and distribution.The post holder will be required to deputize for the Head of Estates and Capital projects where and when required.Ideal Candidate must have a worked within a NHS trust within Estates and Facilities management or on a senior level.Education/Qualification:HND/HNC in Electrical or MechanicalEngineering or relevant FM subjectExperience:. 1.Significant experience in a number of senior managerial roles, that include an Engineering orbuilding services estates function in a complex organization

  1. Experience of budgetary responsibility, cost improvement plans and QIPP
  2. Experience of managing Engineering or Building
Services projects.
  1. Experience of engineering and energy management in large organization
