  • Programme Manager leading on co-ordination of UK & European contribution to global project
  • Remote based
  • 37.5 hours full-time, 12-month contract
  • Reporting to Head of HE Marketing, UK & Europe
This is an incredibly exciting time to join Pearson Higher Education as we undertake a range of transformation projects focused on improving our customers experiences of selecting academic materials for courses and accessing teaching and learning supporttools.Were seeking an exemplary Programme Manager who will get immersed in global projects that will make a significant impact to our customers and our business. Working across a range of core and critical business functions, this role will get the best fromspecialists to ensure the full potential for the projects are realised within timeframe and to budget. A truly international collaboration, this role will bring teams together and co-ordinate workstreams and deliverables across our UK & European HE business,working in conjunction with wider global teams to effect innovation and change over the next twelve months.Your leadership will be required to:
  • Liaise closely with business & technology stakeholders across Pearson to deliver projects based on the needs and goals of the business, breaking down high level requirements into deliverables
  • Support the business, technology and marketing teams in the production of optimised CX that delights customers and meets business revenue and cost goals.
  • Ensure best practices are followed to ensure a commercially focused approach is adopted to help drive maximum engagement from Pearson customers with a view to increasing lead generation,revenue,advocacy and loyalty.
  • Collaborate on the formulation and delivery of effective web journeys suitable to both B2B and B2C customers.
This role will interface with a wide range of teams in a range of locations, and requires a highly energetic individual with:
  • Leadership skills developed within a matrix structure
  • A passion for delivering the highest standards of customer experience
  • Strong influencing skills, able to enthuse and motivate people at all levels
  • Ability to operate effectively in an organisation with both local, national and international dimensions
  • A highly consultative approach, with the sensitivity to deal with multiple agendas and complex groupings of stakeholders
  • Able to engage with the values and vision of the organisation
  • Excellent project management skills and a track record of delivery
  • The ability to set and follow processes and procedures with a high level of attention to detail but flex these processes and procedures when the market or situation changes.
  • Honed organisation skills and a driven self-starter approach
In addition, essential technical experience in:
  • Proven expertise in site migrations
  • Understanding of eCommerce platforms and integrations
  • Working knowledge of content management and product management systems
Desirable technical experience:
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms
  • Understanding of digital platforms and tools designed to enhance CX
