Job Description

Blackstone Recruitment are looking for a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to permanently join a service in Essex.The requirements for this position include the following:

  • To work as a key member of the multidisciplinary team to provide Occupational Therapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children, and to support them, their families and carers in self-management and care. Full time hours
  • Minimum of 2 years Paediatric OT experience
  • Evidence of Post graduate training/or equivalent experience relevant to speciality such as Child Development, Bobath Techniques, Specialist courses/ study on conditions that affect child development, autistic spectrum disorders, ADHD, neurodevelopment conditions
  • To manage and prioritise own caseload and workload independently.
  • Contribute to departmental development and key performance targets.
  • Plan and implement training programmes to others.
  • Work for the most part autonomously, with a specialist, often complex caseload, to assess, diagnose, develop and implement programmes of therapeutic intervention & care.
