Infrastructure Specialist - VMware vSphere - Harlow - £47-49kDue to large scale growth and development - my client a globally reconsidered charity are currently recruiting a Infrastructure Specialist to be based in their Harlow office.Role Purpose* To update and maintain the server and network infrastructure in line with service levels and expectations of the business.* Proactively manage the life-cycle of IT hardware, platform and applications and assist in the development and implementation of projects to migrate business systems onto new platforms.* Provide support to the project and development teams in their activities as and when requiredKey Accountabilities* Third line responsibility for the day to day operation and administration of the network and server infrastructure.* Ensure all network and system documentation is up to date and actively support the IT team to ensure this is regularly reviewed* Work to ensure that all system updates are fully evaluated and tested prior to implementation onto the IT estate. Ensure these updates are applied in a timely fashion following vendor release.* Support the day to day operation of the Mitel VoIP telephony systemExperience and Track Record* In-depth knowledge of networking infrastructure not limited to, Internal/External Firewalls, Remote authentication, Network segregation, Radius authentication* Microsoft: Server 2008 - 2016 (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO).* Knowledge and experience of administering and supporting SharePoint - 2010 - 2016.* Installation, configuration and administration of Exchange 2010 - 2016 - Office 365.Key technologies used by my clientActive DirectoryMitel (IP phone system)Azure ADSCCM, SCSM.Microsoft 365Microsoft Endpoint Configuration ManagerMicrosoft SQL Server (Database)Backup Exec & Veeam (Backup)VMware vSphere (Virtual Server Infrastructure)VMware Workspace ONEThis technical background must be balanced with effective communication and people skills.Spring acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
