We are committed to the core principles of the NHS which are to provide services that meet the health needs of everyone and are free at the point of delivery.Would you like to be part of a Trust that value, recognise and celebrate staff members Who work as a team to provide a high-level service If yes, Princess Alexandra Trust is the place for you.We have long term placement opportunities available for a temporary band 8a Head of Facilities available at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow.Responsibilities will cover a number of areas such as;The successful candidate will support the Strategic Head of Facilities and Property Services, by being directly responsible for the day to day management of all soft facilities management services (catering, portering, , cleaning, linen and laundry) across all PAHT Sites, in line with statutory requirements and on a cost effective basis to deliver value for money.· Strong background in cleaning· Understanding compliance and deep clean processes etc.· Portering knowledge of gasses and moving & handling· Knowledge of technical Soft FM functions, to Masters level - or equivalent level of knowledge and / or experience· In depth experience and facilities related specialist knowledge of working within an NHS organisation· Experience of managing complex teams across a 24/7 service· Experience of managing facilities soft services catering, cleaning, portering, linen and laundry in the NHS.The working hours for this role are Full time and are as follow:Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm but will need flexibilityRate of pay: £24.57 per hourDo you have the following skills …· A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel· Good analytical skills· Excellent communication skills· Excellent telephone manner· Excellent timekeeper· Flexible approach· Smart appearance· Good knowledge regarding services provided by the hospitalIn return for your hard work commitment NHS Professionals (NHSP) can offer you some fantastic benefits: -
