Job Description

Job Title: Graduate / Assistant Transport PlannerOffice Location: Stanstead AbbottsSalary Range: £22,500 - £27,500An independent transport planning & infrastructure design consultancy has an opportunity available for a Transport Planner with ~1 years industry experience to join the team.Based in a quiet town in Hertfordshire, only a 25-minute train journey away from London, you will benefit from the busy workflow of the South East without the hustle of a London commute.Candidate Specification:

  • Degree level education in Geography/Civil Engineering/Transport Planning;
  • ~1 years experience in consultancy-based transport planning;
  • Strong report writing skills;
  • Confident communication & presentation skills;
  • Experience in the use of ARCADY, PICADY & LINSIG would be beneficial;
    • Job Specification:
  • Preparation of transport assessments & statements;
  • Preparation and delivery of travel planning schemes;
  • Transport capacity modelling;
  • Preliminary highway designs;
  • Spreadsheet modelling & analysis.
