Job Description

Consistent Recruitment are now looking for a Conference Producer to join an international event organisation based near Harlow.These guys produce international events across Europe and the US although due to the pandemic they are currently hosted online. You will be joining an established team within the fast-growing business sector producing industry leading international conferences in Europe and North America.You will be tasked with producing 6 – 8 events per year ranging between one day through to four-day events, collaborating with internal departments you will ensure each event is commercially viable and profitable.The role and responsibilities:

  • Project manage events from initial brief through to event
  • Conducting in-depth market research in topic areas, speaker acquisition, venue hunting, target audiences
  • Identify new, interesting and viable topics and business ideas
  • Targeting appropriate market segments
  • Effective programme writing
  • Speaker procurement, to seek and speak to senior industry professionals in their field to research topics and/or invite to present
  • Onsite management
  • Working with internal departments to ensure that sales and marketing campaigns are maximised and the full potential of the research-driven event is fulfilled
  • Managing your own portfolio of projects, you will be responsible for the overall success of the event you produce
    • The person:
  • Experience in a similar role, minimum 1 year
  • Clear, concise and persuasive communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong research experience with the ability to become an expert in your field
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask
  • A keen eye for detail is paramount
  • Adaptable with proven problem-solving skills
  • Project management experience
  • Driven with a desire to succeed
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and a natural problem solver to help achieve goals and targets
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and is willing to travel when applicable
