  • To perform and report on own patient list
  • To ensure professional standards and knowledge are maintained and expanded by active CPD.
  • Teaching and supervising of students.
  • Leading on audit
  • Acting as an advocate for the Ultrasound service
  • To provide written reports after synthesising patient history and scan findings into a diagnosis.
  • To seek second opinion where necessary.
  • Accountable for own professional actions and decision making when acting within clinical protocols.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
  • HCPC registration or equivalent
  • DMU or Pg Certification or Diploma in medical ultrasound or equivalent
  • Full range of ultrasound experience, to include Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Medical Ultrasound
  • Experience of teaching and assessing student Sonographers
  • Recent NHS experience
  • Professional attitude
