Job Description

Supply Chain Co-ordinator £33k - £40k, 25 days holiday + 8 bank Holidays, breakfast, snacks and drinks, gym membership. Hybrid workingReporting to the Head of Operations, the Supply Chain Co-ordinator will manage and optimise the end to end supply chain delivering a profitable, quality product and service. You will do this through the development and delivery of sourcing and supplier managementand optimisation strategies.Youll be from the manufacturing sector with an understanding of manufacturing processes (injection moulding, diecasting, sheet metal fabrication processes) and preferably with some ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Operations to develop and deliver sourcing and supplier management and optimisation strategies.
  • Complete general purchasing activities, including placing POs, updating schedules, receiving invoices, and updating our inventory management system, ensuring we have optimal stock levels.
  • Arranges import and export of freight shipments, producing the necessary documentation, liaising with suppliers and the Customer Service Team.
  • Maintains and updates our Inventory system and master Bill of Materials, ensuring all component data is correct.
  • Develops new and maintains existing supplier relationships.
  • Works closely with the team and our suppliers to ensure optimal stock levels to produce orders to schedule.
Ideally you will have:
  • 4+ years experience in a supply chain role in the manufacturing sector working with domestic and foreign manufacturers.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, especially with pivot tables, V lookup, conditional formatting and index matching.
  • A logical thinker who is highly numerate, analytical and process-orientated who can balance several work streams simultaneously.
  • Operates with continuous improvement focus, determining problems, finding solutions and implementing them.
  • The ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude despite adversity.
