DescriptionWayman Group is pleased to present a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Maths to join our team at an academic school in Haringey. This is a full-time position starting in January. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual who is passionateabout Mathematics and dedicated to providing a high-quality education to students.Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring the delivery of an outstanding Maths curriculum
Provide strategic direction and support to Maths teachers, fostering a positive learning environment
Monitor and evaluate the progress and achievements of students in Maths
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
Mentor and guide Maths teachers, promoting professional growth and development
Contribute to the schools Maths program and extracurricular activities
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and achievements

RequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, Specialization in Mathematics or a related field, Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education (preferred), Significant experience teaching Mathematics, preferably at the secondary level, Provenleadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others, Excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics, with the ability to deliver outstanding lessons, Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills, Commitment to ongoingprofessional development and staying up-to-date with advancements in Mathematics educationCompany InformationWayman Group is a reputable education recruitment agency known for providing exceptional staffing solutions.
