Salary: PO5 (£42,684 - £45,585)Location: Haringey, North LondonContract: Fixed Term Contract (6 months)Hours: 36 hours per weekAbout the roleWe are offering an excellent opportunity for a Planned Continuous Improvement Manager to grow and develop within the Repairs team of Homes for Haringey, whilst making a huge impact on the future of the organisation. Our repairs team is striving for excellence and requires an experienced and highly knowledgeable individual to assist in managing our team of team leaders with delivering a high quality service to our residents.As a Planned Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the performance of service quality, quantity, the following of Health & Safety protocol, cost control and deadlines for agreed completion dates.About youYou will be assisting the head of repairs with preparing business plans, monitoring budgetary expenditure and ensuring deadlines are met within the team. You will ensure that negotiations are carried out with clients and sub-contractors, accurate estimates are provided and other costs are recovered in compliance with Homes for Haringey’s procedures.We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual with a Trades or Repairs surveyor background. You must be knowledgeable in regard to construction, building maintenance, Repairs and health and safety regulations. A must have a full driver’s licence for this role and preferably a NEBOSH / ROSPA construction Health & Safety, CIOB maintenance, IMBM maintenance certificate.Key Responsibilities
